The estate's wines are produced from grapes grown
on its 8 hectares (20 acres) located in historic Barolo
"crus": Cannubi Boschis, Preda, Sarmassa,
I Merli, San Giovanni, and Costa delle rose. Dolcetto
d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Nebbiolo d'Alba complete
the range.
Tradition and technology come together in the winery
under the watchful eye of Virna and her husband Gianni
Abrigo, both wine-growers - i.e. specialized in both
the growing of vines and the making of wines.
Together they also run a farm - Azienda Agricola Orlando
Abrigo - in the village of Treiso, where Barbaresco,
Langhe Chardonnay and a wooded Merlot are produced.
The entire process, from the growing of the grapes,
through the wine-making procedures to the ageing in
oak casks, are followed with scrupulous attention
to detail in order to provide the clientele with an
absolute certainty: genuine wines of outstanding value.
