WINEMAKING:
Soft pressing of grapes, maceration with grapeskins for
7-9 days at a maximum temperature of 28°C.
During the second decanting, the wine is put into second
used barriques of 300 – 500 litres where it stays
for 10 months. After the clarification, it is bottled without
filtration. The wine is laid down in bottles for 6 months
before packaging and consignment.
ORGANOLEPTIC
CHARACTERISTICS, PRESERVATION:
Soft With an intense ruby-red colour, the Barbera has a
full bouquet which with oxygenation opens out into ripe
blackberry and violet scents. It has a full, warm
and lingering flavour with delicate tannins and a soft,
fruity pleasant ending.
We recommend drinking it from the second to the sixth
year at a temperature of 16-17°C.
